Hello everyone, this is Amon again.
When I was writing this monthly report, I realized that almost ４ months have passed since 2022 started.
みなさん、こんにちは。アモンです。
このレポートを書いているとき、2022年が始まってから４ヶ月近く経っていることに気づきました…
You might be wondering how IPU students spend their Summer term. So I decided to show you my summer term life at IPU.
たぶんみなさんはIPUの学生が夏学期をどのように過ごしているのか疑問に思われるかもしれません。
そこで、IPUでの夏学期の生活をお見せすることにしました。
I took 2 papers this summer term which are Chinese and Research skills 2.
My day starts with Chinese classes. We have learnt the basics of Chinese Speaking and Listening.
Through studying other languages, I found important things in common such as vocab and pronunciation.
My teacher, Miss Ling, told me that you should be careful with Mandarin pronunciation because they have multiple meanings in a word and the meanings are decided by pronunciation.
自分はこの夏学期に中国語と統計学の2つのクラスを取りました。
自分の一日は中国語の授業から始まります。中国語のスピーキングとリスニングの基本を学びました。
他の言語を勉強することで、語彙や発音などの共通点を見つけました。
先生のリン先生から、中国語の発音には注意が必要だと言われました。
中国語のひとつの単語には複数の意味があり、発音によって意味が決まるからです。
Palmerston North has made a new trial which is introducing Micro-mobility, such as e-scooters, launched on 1 November 2021.
E-scooters are used to make a walking trip quicker or so people can travel further than they usually would on foot.
I actually tried the scooter with my friend for the first time, and I felt it was quite convenient!
They can run so fast so you should be extra careful and respectful for people on pathways.
パーマストンノースは、2021年11月1日に実施されたe-スクーターなどのマイクロモビリティを導入する新しい試験を行いました。
e-スクーターは、徒歩での移動をより速くしたり、人々が通常の徒歩よりも遠くまで移動できるようにするために使用されます。
初めて友達と一緒にスクーターを試してみたところ、とても便利だと感じました！
めちゃめちゃ早いので、道にいる人々に特に注意を払って使用しましょう！
Actually I have a girlfriend in Porirura which is located 20 mins away from Wellington.
I often went down to see my girlfriend once a week. This time, we made Okonomiyaki.
This was the first time I made Japanese food for my gf but it was actually delicious!
私事ですが、今付き合っている女性がいます。彼女はポリルラというウェリントンから車で20分の所に住んでいて、週に１回は彼女に会います。
今回はお好み焼きを作りました。彼女のために日本食を作るのは初めてでしたが、このお好み焼きは格別に美味しかったです❤
