今年は、私にとって4回目、最後のスプリングフェスティバル。この4年の中で一番盛り上がったフェスティバルでした。
数日前より天候が崩れることが予報されていましたが、幸いにも開始直後には青空が広がる気持ちの良い天候の中フェスティバルを行うことができました。
私を含め、学生達は、ダンスや和太鼓のパフォーマンスに出演したり、綿菓子やお好み焼きを出店で販売したり、お化け屋敷やフェイスペイントのアクティビティを運営したり、外部からの来訪者に対してツアーガイドとして案内したりと、全員何らかの形でフェスティバルに関わり、そして思いっきり楽しみました。
それぞれが夢中で打ち込んだ事があるからこそ、各々にとってかけがえのない時間を送ることが出来たのだと思います。
This year’s festival was the most vigorous for me.
The weather forecast for the actual day was rainy, but fortunately we could hold the festival on a pleasant weather just after starting it.
Some students were performing dance and drum, selling cotton candy and okonomiyaki, organizing the haunted house and face painting, the others guiding visitors from Palmerston North and other neighbor cities.
I am sure we could spend the precious time at the festival because each of us put our heart and soul into the preparation and management.
