We got many new students from April. So, this report is for students who will be coming to New Zealand, and introduces items that students think would be good or useful to bring from Japan!
I actually asked Japanese students in IPUNZ.

IPUNZは4月からたくさんの新入生、留学生を迎えました。
そこで今回のレポートはこれからニュージーランドに来る学生に向けて、日本から持ってくると良いと思うもの、便利だと思うものを現地の学生に聞いてみたので紹介します！
１．Japanese food/ snack
日本食、お菓子
There are some available at Asian stores, but they are expensive and limited. One of my friends brought cardboard boxes full of snacks from Japan!! However, New Zealand border control has strict rules on what you can get into the country, so be careful when bringing them.
アジアンストアなどで手に入る物はありますが、値段が高く限られています。日本から段ボールいっぱいにお菓子を持ってきた友達もいます🤭
ただニュージーランドは税関が厳しいので持ってくる時には注意が必要です！
２．Medicine
薬
When I came to New Zealand, many people got sick due to the environmental change. It is a good idea to have cold medicine, stomach medicine, painkillers, eye drops, etc. A thermometer would also be helpful! As with food, please be aware that medicines will need to be declared at customs upon arrival at the airport 😊
私がニュージランドに来た時も環境の変化で体を壊す人が多くいました。風邪薬、胃腸薬、鎮痛剤、目薬などがあると安心です。
体温計もあったら便利です！食べ物同様、薬も空港に到着後に税関申告が必要になるので気をつけてください😊
３．Cosmetics/ skin care products
コスメ/基礎化粧品
Many New Zealand beauty products are good quality and organic, but the variety is far less than in Japan. Also, if you want products that suit Japanese skin or if you are particular about your skin care products, I definitely recommend that you bring your own 😚
NZの美容商品はオーガニックで良質なものが多いですが、日本に比べると種類は圧倒的に少ないです。
また日本人の肌に合う商品が欲しい人、こだわりがある人は絶対に持ってくることをおすすめします😚
Other comments included water bottles, insect repellent, laundry nets, athletic shoes, and chopsticks! Depending on the time you arrive in New Zealand, you may not be able to go shopping that day, so we recommend bringing shampoo, toothpaste, etc., for the first few days.
その他、水筒, 防虫剤, 洗濯ネット, 運動靴, お箸などの意見もありました！
ニュージーランドに到着する時間によってはその日に買い物に行けない可能性があるので、シャンプー、歯磨き粉等は最初の数日分持ってくることをおすすめします！
