先週に続き、山内さんのスーパーマーケットのレポートはまだまだ続きます。

はい。
これが、IPUニュージーランドの学生ほとんどが一度はハマってしまうというあの「ミ・ゴレン」です。インスタント麺で、麺を茹でて、お湯を切って、備え付けの調味料をかけて、混ぜれば出来上がる一般的なものです。
私もピーク時は夜な夜な一人で５袋全て平らげてしまった事があります。。。
Then, this is that “Mi Goreng” which most IPU students are addicted to at least once during their campus life.
It can be classified as an instant noodle. So, you just follow the 4-step instruction: (1) boil noodles (2) remove noodles from water (3) Add seasonings to noodles (4) Mix well
I have also eaten up all the 5 packs by myself at midnight…

Can you find the words “ Club Deal”(white font in red back ground) on the price tag?
これは、カード会員のみ割引が有効という意味です。
会員になるのにも、無料でたった３分程の簡単な手続きを済ませれば良いだけですし、会員になれば割引されるだけでなく、一度の会計で２５ドル以上使えば１ポイントずつ貯まっていき、ニュー・ワールドの商品や生活用品を手に入れる事が出来るので、大学入学から最低４年間ニュー・ワールドに通うと考えたら、結構お得だと思います。
It means the discount of the product is valid for the membership only.
To get a membership, you just complete easy procedures in 3 minutes for free. Also, if you become a membership, you can get not only a discount but also one point per $25 shopping, and you can choose the product and daily necessities depending on your collected points.
Please think about how long you will have studied at IPU.
You should be there for at least 3-4 years so you can gain that much points and save a large amount of money.

あと最新情報ですが、先日このニュー・ワールドに皆さんご存知の「ハーゲンダッツ」が売られ始めました…!!
I have a red-hot news. Incredibly, New World started selling “Haagen-Dazs” recently!!!
ただでさえお高いのに外国サイズなので、頻繁に購入することはやはり難しいですが、たまの楽しみとして友達とシェアしながら美味しく頂いています。
As you know, it is hard to buy this ice cream frequently. Despite this, the price is more expensive here due to the size and commodity price in New Zealand.
For this reason, it is an occasional pleasure for us to share with everyone.

IPUニュージーランド前のニュー・ワールドは、祝日や品切れ等を除けば、月曜日から日曜日まで毎日朝７時３０分から夜９時００分まで営業しているので、是非お立ち寄り下さい。
New World at the front of IPU New Zealand opens everyday from 7:30 am till 9pm except public holidays and during stock-out, so please drop in there.

ここでは紹介していませんが、日本の調味料や日本食も多少買うことができます。
また洗濯洗剤などの日用品もそろいます。
最近は日本でも海外のスーパーのような大型スーパーが増えてきたので、珍しくない人もいるかもしれませんが、
ニュージーランドの人たちの買い物スタイルを見るのもなかなか楽しいです。
なお、大きいかばんの持ち込みはできないので、リュックサックなどはレジ付近において買い物をするようにいわれます。
