今日は、キャンパス内の図書館の紹介です。
以前、ニュージーランド最大の蔵書を誇る図書館、ということで紹介しました。

今回は、学生の山内さんが、もっと図書館の内部の詳細について教えてくれます。
2回に分けてお届けします。今日が第1回目、で第2回目は12月1日（金）リリース予定です。

今回は、学内の図書館(通称：ライブラ)を紹介したいと思います！
Today, I would like to introduce the IPU library.
ライブラに入るとまず見える光景がこちらです。
Firstly, you can find the view below when you enter the library.
この区画では、外国人の友達と一緒に和気あいあいと勉強することが出来るので、テスト勉強や課題を一緒に取り組む際に適しており、日本の図書館とはまた違ったラフな雰囲気も感じることが出来ます。
This section is suitable when you pleasurably work on the exam revision and assignments with your international friends because the library allows us to talk there. So, you may feel comfortable unlike the Japanese library.
次に、簡単に本棚を紹介します。
The next is the brief introduction of shelves.
先ほどの写真右奥の棚には、2,200以上もの映画DVDに加え、毎週新着映画が、このように入り口を入ってすぐ右手の区画に紹介されています。
The right rear shelf in the previous picture has more than 2,200 movies and the newly-arrived movies are displayed in the section on the right located nearest the entrance like the picture below.
私の最近のオススメ映画は「ハンガーゲーム」です。
授業で見る機会があり、当時はあまり面白いとは感じなかったのですが、久々に見直すと、懐かしい気持ちもあって、見たことのなかった続きの２本まで一気見してしまいました！(授業じゃないってすごい…)
My recent recommendation of the movie is “The Hunger Games”.
I had an opportunity to watch it in class before and I could not find it interesting at that time. However, I felt nostalgic about it and could not help watching not only this movie but also that sequels without rest when I watched it for the first time in a while! (What a mystery it is…)
左奥の棚には、マナワツ・スタンダードという地方新聞から有名なニューヨーク・タイムズまで陳列されていて、さらに日経新聞も置かれているので世界情勢だけではなく、就職活動のための日本情勢の把握もバッチリです！
The left rear shelf has variety of newspapers, from a local newspaper called Manawatu Standard to a famous newspaper called New York Times. Also, Nikkei Shimbun is placed on display there, so you can perfectly understand what is going on not only in the world but also in Japan for your future job hunting.
ちなみに、その新聞棚に一番近い席は私のお気に入りの席です。
ご覧の通り、隅っこなので何となく落ち着きますし、快適なソファや充電用コンセントの設備の他に、大自然の景色という特典付きなので、入学を考えている学生さんには是非入学後お試し頂きたいです。
For your information, the seat located nearest that shelf is my favorite.
As you can see, the seat located in the corner makes you feel relaxed somehow. In addition, the comfortable sofas and power points are equipped with around the seat and you have the privilege of viewing the nature.
For these reasons, I would like to recommend the seat to the students who are thinking of getting into IPU New Zealand.
